Factors Influencing the Utilization of Insecticide Treated Bed Nets in the Prevention of Malaria in the Berekum East Municipality, Ghana

Introduction: The goal of the study was to assess factors that influence utilization Insecticide Treated bed Nets (ITN) in prevention malaria Berekum East Municipality. 
 Methods: Quantitative cross sectional design used conduct Total 307 respondents aged between 20-60 years were randomly selected for data collection with aid a questionnaire. Data analysed Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23.0. Descriptive and logistic regression analyses examine influencing ITN use at 95% confidence interval.
 Results: found 87.6% owned ITN; however 28% them it regularly while 72% irregularly. Only 12.4% did not because they have them. Majority (94.4%) had sufficient knowledge about INT. reasons prevented people from using included inconvenienced sleeping under them, skin rashes heat intolerance. key predictors appropriate education level, number occupants per room, structure room level availability ITNs. Age range 20-30 year odds ratio 1.633 than other age groups. Likewise, tertiary OR 2.036 usage more educational categories.
